Captain Cloak!

Some years ago I painted the Assault on Black Reach captain... badly.

However! Now, Salvation is at hand for at least a little bit of this poor miniature.

I wanted to try shading red with green, to give it more vibrancy, instead of black, so I went back and reworked this guys cloak.

The finish is a bit poor because I painted straight over a badly varnished surface, also I may have gone a bit mad with the final highlight!

Skaven Warpfire Thrower

This was painted for a competition over on The Painted Dragon, unfortunatly there were no other entries, but I still learnt a lot about NMM and blending.

The NMM could be smoother and I realised the plates on the front guys back should be highlighted differently, but this is a decent step forward for me.

Also need to improve my basing. Much to do!
